Eminem is coming clean about the harsh details of his drug addiction in the documentary "How to Make Money Selling Drugs."
The rap superstar admits that he refused to face the fact that he was addicted to prescription pills for a long time. Denial allowed his addiction to grow until he was taking any pill that people would give him. During one drug-related hospitalization, Em recalls that he was so close to death that had he arrived to the hospital two hours later he would have died. While there were dark days for the rapper, he assures fellow addicts that things do get better.
While documenting the violence of the drug world, "How to Make Money Selling Drugs" also exposes corruption by the so-called "War on Drugs."
The documentary also features interviews with Russell Simmons, Woody Harrelson, Susan Sarandon, 50 Cent and "The Wire" creator David Simon. This film opens in select theaters this weekend.
