An argument between two riders on a CTA bus in the Lakeview neighborhood turned violent over the weekend.
DNAinfo Chicago reports that a suburban man was stabbed with a pedicure razor when he told female passenger Natasha Butler, 41, to, "shut up or get off."
When the victim, who remains unidentified, saw Butler get into an altercation with another female passenger on the No. 77 Belmont bus he stepped in and tried to break it up. After the bus driver asked the victim to "stop escalating things," he claimed he walked away.
Upon exiting the bus, Butler turned and began swinging the razor in the victim's direction, resulting in several small stab wounds.
Butler was arrested and is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery in a public place.
